There are many consequences to the type of scientific change
that Kuhn (1970) has described. The embracing of a paradigm
means the redefinition of what is scientific and a redetermination
of what is the proper study of that particular branch of science in which the paradigm prevails.
What may be genuine and crucial, but does not fall within the paradigm, may be declared beyond
the pale of true science. The risk of intellectual totalitarianism is inherent in paradigm shifts.
Perhaps psychiatry has benefited by the weaknesses of its paradigms; considerable diversity has been retained,
and no one paradigm has ever completely effaced the others. However, should the adherents of one paradigm dominate academia
and/or the funding streams that nourish research, this could become possible.

An artifact can be thought of as a meeting point—an "interface"
in today's terms—between an "inner" environment, the substance
and organization of the artifact itself, and an "outer" environment,
the surroundings in which it operates. If the inner environment is
appropriate to the outer environment, or vice versa, the artifact will
serve its intended purpose. Thus, if the clock is immune to buffeting, it will serve as a ship's chronometer.
(And conversely, if it isn't, we may salvage it by mounting it on the mantel at home.)

評定100点テスト100点の200点満点で選考するらしいです。評定を２倍したのが点数だと説明にきていた福大の人が言っていました・・・・
